Memoirs of a Vampire: Part II
Ready for part two? I am seriously impressed with my past self. Usually, I look back on things I wrote and cringe. But when it comes to some of the poetry I wrote, it’s a different story.
If anything, it’s drawing up new inspirations and how I need to rewire my brain a bit to go back to writing like this. I used to write these in calligraphy and keep them in a journal; however, I misplaced them. I’m sure they are somewhere waiting for me to one day discover them again.
I have left these poems in their entirety. I could edit them, but I feel like I would betray past Kathy if I did that. Saying that, I hope you enjoy the second part of Memoirs of a Vampire.
Chasing, flitting, always quiet
Watching her
Her scent; how extravagant and delicious
Her beautiful face, fierce but loving
Always watching
For she shall be mine..for all eternity
Five centuries and no woman have refused me
Nor shall she
Despite the vampire huntress in her
She will succumb beneath me …
How wrong I was…
Her heart; captivated by a filthy creature ever existed
..The Lycan
A promise I vow not to break,
He shall suffer, send him into demise
No creature will stand between me and what I want
For they shall be crushed by my hands
Her scent; no longer delicious but revolting
I will forever change that, my Mina.
I will draw blood from that beautiful neck of yours,
Together we shall be,
Make love to you under the bloodletting moonlight,
Fulfill your deepest, darkest wishes,
“Take my hand, my love
I will take you beyond this world,
For I am your vampire God.”
Stay tuned next Friday for the last instalment!
