Hey Kathy, this really hits home for me! I feel like the negative stigma of social media is what hindered me from not writing online sooner. Over the years, I found a nice balance. I look at social media like how I view real life. Make genuine and meaningful connections with people and don't worry about numbers or stats, because it won't give you the joy of having a good conversation with someone :)

Social media is a funny thing. But I also think it's where we are in life too. When we're younger, we just focus on the stats and our happiness is drawn from that. Also, so many bad comments can get to us and make us scared to expose ourselves.

We weren't really taught to find happiness within until muuuuuch later in life. That carries to how we deal with socials.

Haha, no problem Kathy! And I totally agree with what you said there. I wish people would be taught to find happiness within a lot sooner. It's certainly something I wish I had growing up. Thank you for sharing! :)
